Canada is ranked in 10th place, internationally, in terms of our total greenhouse gas emissions, in spite of the fact that we have a relatively low population.  Amongst those top 10 countries, our emissions per capita are the highest.

12% of the greenhouse gas emissions in Canada come from buildings.  Making good environmental choices when buying or selling a home can save you money, help to protect the environment and help you to avoid some of the biggest risks of climate changes, such as flooding, wildfire, sea level rise, and storms.
